Evelyn Rush Voice Studio

I teach from the mindset that healthy singing and music making comes from learning with joy and mindfulness.

Evelyn Rush (she/her) lives in Cedar Rapids with her wonderful husband and their goofy pitbull, Minnie. Evelyn holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Conservatory of Music at UMKC and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Simpson College. After college, Evelyn performed with a number of opera companies throughout the US. Evelyn then transitioned to stage management working with Wolf Trap Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Seattle Opera, and Minnesota Opera. She has also enjoyed performing with many professional choral ensembles throughout the years and currently performs with Vocal Artists of Iowa.
